Ordering a Commission

Commissioning a piece is a very simple process. Finn works from photos for your portrait, so there’s no need for him to see the subject, A good range of photos will allow him to create your special piece.

  • Take photos
It's very important to have a photo/photos that capture the subjects personality and character. The chosen photo/photos are very important in the process and must be chosen wisely.
My speciality is reproducing your chosen photo/photos and capturing the characteristics and personality of that subject

  • Contact
Once you have taken your photos, the next step is to contact me, via email, Facebook or phone, and forward any photos you have at a good resolution. We can then go through those photos and see which will be the best for the commission.

  • Making payment
I usually send a direct invoice to the customers email, which accepts all debit/credit cards. Cash or cheque can also be accepted if you are collecting your piece or if a meeting has been organised.
I require a deposit before work commences and the remainder to be payed upon completion.

  • Client list
I work on a first come, first serve basis and I usually have waiting list for commissioned pieces. Waiting times depend on how much notice has been given but I can sometimes work around the client if there is a special occasion to be catered for at short notice.
I’ll always do my best to accommodate everyone.
